Shampoo Bar XV

Shampoo Bar XV is a formula we have changed and improved 14 times before finalizing no.15. It’s inspired by Ayurveda and the plant oils that go back to the old times for caring for the hair. These include the sour Indian gooseberries (Amla) that aid in the growth and volume of hair, the herb Acacia Concina (Shikakai), a traditional Indian Ayurvedic herb that contains natural saponins and is known to aid hair growth, reduce hair loss, treat dandruff and scalp keratosis. We have paired these with Saponaria wood extract, our own hibiscus extract, rose wax and tea tree oil that soothe inflamed scalp and moisturize hair.

This Shampoo bar contains only 1% of water as opposed to conventional shampoos that consist of 70-85% of water. The bar weighs around 80gr and has been tested on different hair types with very positive results. Dry hair feels more moisturized and oilier and fine hair are less oily and with more volume after washing. This bar has been used 46 times to wash short and medium sized hair. It is a cleaner and gentler alternative for children too.  We recommend its use with the conditioner that softens the hair after washing.

The pH of this Shampoo bar ranges from 4.3 – 4.6. Happy hair and scalp need a pH of 4.2 – 5.0.
